Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01: Drive from Pokhara 860 m to Dhampus Phedi and trek to Dhampus village at 1,520 m high (45 mins drive and 3 hours walks.

    The journey begins with preparations for the trek, followed by breakfast. A short, half-hour drive takes you to the base of Dhampus Hill, known as Phedi. From there, you'll begin a climb up stone steps for a short while, eventually reaching level ground with a charming farm village and terraced fields. As you continue walking, you'll be treated to views of the valley below, with the final climb of the day leading you to the high ridge of Dhampus village, where you'll spend the night in a cozy, homely lodge.

  • Day 02: Morning enjoy views and trek to Sarankot 1,460 m – 05 to 06 hours.

    In the morning at Dhampus village, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, along with a striking sunrise over the peaks, including the iconic Machhapuchhre, also known as Fish Tail due to its twin-shaped summit. After a hearty breakfast with these magnificent views, you’ll begin the second day of trekking, heading towards the top of the Dhampus ridge before descending into a river gorge, passing through a lovely farming village.

    From the gorge, a steep climb of less than an hour will bring you to Naudanda, a village located along the Pokhara to Beni highway. From here, head east towards Sarangkot, following a pleasant trail that takes you through the large village of KaskiKot, eventually reaching Sarangkot for your final night on the hills overlooking the Pokhara Valley.

  • Day 03: Catch the sunrise over the mountain range and walk to Pokhara – 02 hrs.

    Sarangkot, a well-known viewpoint hill, draws numerous visitors for its spectacular sunrise views and panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. Paragliding and zip-lining, popular adventure sports, also begin from the Sarangkot hilltop.
