The journey begins with preparations for the trek, followed by breakfast. A short, half-hour drive takes you to the base of Dhampus Hill, known as Phedi. From there, you'll begin a climb up stone steps for a short while, eventually reaching level ground with a charming farm village and terraced fields. As you continue walking, you'll be treated to views of the valley below, with the final climb of the day leading you to the high ridge of Dhampus village, where you'll spend the night in a cozy, homely lodge.
In the morning at Dhampus village, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, along with a striking sunrise over the peaks, including the iconic Machhapuchhre, also known as Fish Tail due to its twin-shaped summit. From the gorge, a steep climb of less than an hour will bring you to Naudanda, a village located along the Pokhara to Beni highway. From here, head east towards Sarangkot, following a pleasant trail that takes you through the large village of KaskiKot, eventually reaching Sarangkot for your final night on the hills overlooking the Pokhara Valley.
